Utagawa Hiroshige – a master of Japanese colour woodcut! Hiroshige stands out for his novel compositions of landscape printing – his 36 views of Mount Fuji are world famous. Many of Hiroshige’s paintings visualize the fleeting, buzzing nightlife in what was then Tokyo with Kabuki theaters, courtesans and geishas. Every month you will discover these colour woodcuts and more works of art by the Japanese artist and escape your everyday life.
